About me

Hi, my name is Nick. I live in Oxford in the UK. I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2010.  It was in that year that I decided to study for a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults). I found that course really interesting and it was a really good decision because I have enjoyed teaching ever since then.

I have taught at some different language schools in Oxford. I started teaching at British Study Centres where I taught for two years. I then moved to Italy and taught Business English to Prada employees in Tuscany. More recently I have been teaching at Embassy School of English in Oxford, where I have taught students at different levels from elementary to advanced as well as a lot of students studying IELTS exam English and Business English. In the last six years I have also been lucky enough to teach a lot of nice private students on a one to one basis.

I really enjoy teaching English because I meet a lot of interesting and enthusiastic people. from around the world, and it is great to have the opportunity to help people to improve their English. These days English such an important language for work, travel, and culture, so I think that having a good level of English can make a real difference in your life.

What do Nick's students say?

Ettore from Italy

"I was surprised how, after only few lessons, I could appreciate Nick's teachings in the daily practice of English language. His approach is flexible and he is adaptable to any need: both professional and colloquial, able to focus on several sectors of technical language, ready to pass easily from grammar, listening, pronunciation to a CV review or preparing a job interview. I work quite far from Oxford and have an intense social life, so I often can't find enough time to study, but thanks to Nick's interactive approach and his attention to my particular needs and interests every single lesson is a big step forward."
